Mr. William Wilson Bedgood, age 52 of Pearson, Ga. passed away, Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga. following a short illness.  Born in Hazlehurst, Ga. on April 30, 1969, to Wilson Wheeler and Billie Faye Powell Bedgood, Mr. William made his home in the Coffee and Atkinson County area for the last 25 years.  He was a mechanic and tow-truck operator with Williams Automotive and Towing.  Mr. William liked fast cars and fishing and hunting, but, if you knew him, you knew his most treasured time was spent with his family, especially, his grandchildren.  He was preceded in death, along with his parents, by his brother, Danny Bedgood, and stepdad, Mike Sears.

 

Survivors include:

 

Wife:  Stephanie Bedgood of Pearson, Ga.

 

Son:  Zachary White of Ambrose, Ga.

 

6 Daughters:  Ansleigh Bennett and husband, Josh of Hahira, Ga.

                     Ashleigh White and Josh Powell of Ambrose, Ga.

                     Dorothy Bedgood and Justin Pelletier of Avon Park, Fla.

                     Candace Wilkinson and husband, Keegan of Pearson, Ga.

                     Chasity Giddens and husband, Axle of Willacoochee, Ga.

                     Attleigh Bedgood of Pearson, Ga.

                     

 

Sister:  Shirley McIntyre and husband, Dustin of Hartwell, S.C.

 

13 Grandchildren along with several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives also survive.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Bedgood were held Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Ozias Freewill Baptist Church in Pearson, Ga. with Rev. Trevino Simpson officiating.  Special musical selections included, “You Should be Here”, and “Scars in Heaven” rendered by cd and “Go Rest High” rendered by soloist and pianist, Michael Johnson, who also provided soft music for the Prelude and Postlude.  The interment followed in Ozias Church Cemetery.

 

Serving as active pallbearers were:  Zachery White, Keegan Wilkinson, Josh Bennett, Justin Pelletier, Axle Giddens, Josh Powell, Steve Lott and Mike Wilcox. 

 

Serving as honorary pallbearers were:  Jody Fussell, Ricky Moore and Jim Brown.

 

Relihan Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
