Clarene Jones Harrell, 85

Mrs. Clarene Jones Harrell, age 85 of Nicholls, GA passed away, Saturday afternoon, December 3, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Harrell was born September 26, 1937 to the late Jordan H. Jones and the late Bessie Mae Acorn Jones. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Siblings: Melvin Jones, Sam Jones and Johnnie Kate Daniel. 

Mrs. Harrell, a native of Irwin County, was a homemaker. She was a dedicated member of West Ward Church of God. She was a member of the Harmony Sunday School Class. 

Survivors include: 

Her husband of 66 years: James Franklin Harrell of Nicholls, GA 

3 Children: Randy Franklin Harrell and wife Renee of Nicholls, GA 

Daniel Keith Harrell and wife Beth of Nicholls, GA 

Melanie Lynn Tucker and husband Derek of Ambrose, GA 

2 Siblings: Elma V Spivey and husband Rev. Leroy of Douglas, GA 

Ray Jones of Ambrose, GA 

5 Grandchildren: Justin Harrell of Nicholls, GA 

Kelli Cooper of Cecil, GA 

Katie Harrell of Douglas, GA 

Trent Harrell of Nicholls, GA 

Nace Tucker of Ambrose, GA 

4 Great Grandchildren 

A number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. 

The funeral service will be Wednesday afternoon December 7, 2022 at 2:30 PM at West Ward Church of God with Bishop Britt Peavy and Bishop Leroy Spivey officiating. The interment will follow at Douglas City Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, December 6, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home.

Active Pallbearers for the service will be: Justin Harrell,, Cory Cooper, Jared Miller, Trent Harrell, Nace Tucker, Donovan McNab. Honorary Pallbearers for the service will be: Michael Joyce and the Harmony Sunday School Class at West Ward Church of God.
