“IncREDible” was the FCCLA theme for the 2022-2023 school year, and FCCLA members were recently recognized at the member banquet for their incredible year in FCCLA. It was a busy year that began with Discover training for officers and ended with the state meeting in Athens, GA.
Outstanding members were Emma Wilkerson, Braxton Yancey, Emily Caroline Culler, Jada Tanner, and Jayden Wiggins. Each was given small gifts to recognize their hard work and accomplishments in FCCLA this past year. Seniors Jamiah Baker, Ariel Hill, and Emma Wilkerson met the criteria for a club cord and received the cord to wear at graduation.
Coffee High FCCLA had an awesome year in competition beginning at the Georgia National Fair where they placed fourth in both the fair booth and t-shirt contests. Coffee High received ribbons at the state meeting in the following National Program Applications: FACTS, Families First, Student Body, Career Connection, and Stand UP. Braxton Yancey was recognized for completing the Power of One Program, and Tara Carver was awarded Master Adviser. In addition to the individual awards, the Coffee High FCCLA Chapter received Honor Roll with Distinction.
Coffee High FCCLA would like to thank all the parents, community members, and businesses who supported them this year. Thank you for helping Coffee High FCCLA and its members be “INCREDIBLE”.
