Wiregrass Tech offers Auto Electrical Systems Technician certification

Wiregrass Georgia Technical College is offering Auto Electrical/Electronic Systems Technician technical certificate of credit on the Ben Hill-Irwin Campus.  This certificate can be completed in only 10 weeks during this summer semester.  The Automotive classes will be offered Monday through Thursday from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm.  New students are being accepted for Summer Semester, and classes begin on May 16.

Wiregrass Automotive Instructor Todd Thompson has been working in the automotive industry for over 30 years and is Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certified, General Motors (GM) certified, and Ford Certified in electrical and electronics. Thompson shared, “One of the first steps in the process of working on cars is electrical. There is not one day that I do not get calls from employers seeking technicians.”
