Ma’s Pre-Loved Closet & More hosted a ribbon cutting led by the Chamber of Commerce Thursday morning. Natasha Kazan of the Chamber of Commerce spoke of how the owner, Ammie Espitia, is working hard to provide affordable and fashionable clothing for the people of Douglas and all of Coffee County.
When Ms. Espitia was looking into starting the business, she had come into contact with the former owner of a consignment shop at the same location. The owner was in the process of moving out of the building and Espitia was able to open her own store, which she named after her mother, about two weeks after the previous shop closed. She runs the store with help from her family and offers a wide variety clothing and other items at affordable prices. She thanked God and the Chamber of Commerce for the opportunity to give back to the community and make a difference.
Mayor pro-tem Richard Hutchinson delivered a message of thanks to Espitia and her family for helping to add to the thriving economy of the city of Douglas and Coffee County.
Ma’s Pre-Loved Closet is located at 60 206 Connector NW and their phone number is (912) 592-3647. They are open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The store accepts donations for clothing and other products and a Web site for the store is currently in progress.
