Mrs. Brenda Faye Carlton, age 72 of Douglas, passed away early Friday morning, August 7, 2020 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short illness. Mrs. Carlton was born April 10, 1948 to Maudell Fisher Bass and the late Bira Lee Bass.
Mrs. Carlton, a native of Moultrie, GA, had been employed in food sales with 5 Star Food Service. She was of the holiness faith.
Survivors include: Her husband Grady James Carlton of Douglas, GA; children Brenda Lynn Sloan of Douglas, GA, Anita Williams and husband Edison of Douglas, GA, Sherry Rawson and husband Charlie of Michigan, Bobby Gene Dean, Jr. and wife Adrianne of Douglas, GA; her mother Maudell Fisher Bass of Moultrie, GA; sisters Debbie Parker of Douglas, GA, Dianne McDaniel, Shelby Fitzgerald, Ruby Bass and Wanda Knight, all of Moultrie, GA; brother Steven Ray Bass of Tifton, GA; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
The funeral service will be Sunday afternoon, August 9, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Fussell and Rev. Levi Jones officiating. The interment will follow in Calvary Full Gospel Tabernacle Church Cemetery near West Green.
The family will receive friends Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home.
Active Pallbearers for the service will be: Clint Williams, Caden Dean, Jeffrey Leavens, Jonathan Lomax, Keith Wooten and David Jewell
