Mr. Lester Hampton, age 77 of Douglas, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, July 31, 2022 at his home following an extended illness.
Mr. Hampton was born July 13, 1945 to the late John Leslie Hampton and the late Ethel Cooper Hampton. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: John "Buddy" Hampton and Ed Lott; 1 Son-in-Law; Donnie Rabon and 1 Great Grand Daughter: Rihanna Shivers.
Mr. Hampton, a native of Coffee County, has been a mechanic with the City of Douglas. He also worked in the Logging business and the poultry industry.

A number of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
The funeral service will be Wednesday afternoon August 3, 2022 at 2:00 PM in Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Littlejohn officiating. The interment will follow in Douglas City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, August 2, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home.
Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
