Deondray Andrews, 35, has been charged with aggravated stalking after allegedly violating a restraining order previously taken out by his spouse.

According to the incident report, the victim showed the officer multiple calls and texts from Andrews, one of which included a comment about her son, who is currently on life support. The report states that on January 17, an officer spoke to the victim, who said that her husband, Andrews, had been contacting her through calls and texts. She explained to the officer that they were in the process of a divorce and she has a restraining order against him in West Virginia due to domestic violence charges.

The victim then showed the officer messages and calls from a contact listed as Andrews. The report shows one call on January 6, two calls back to back on January 7, and a text message sent at 3:41 a.m. on the same day.

According to the report, the victim then showed the officer an unsaved number that had been calling and texting her, who she believed to be Andrews because of the contents of the messages. The report states that one message said, "..and leave your dying son to feed your lust." The victim told the officer that her son is currently on life support in Atlanta. Another message also stated, "See you in court; you will lose," with another text containing an image of part of a document the victim filled out for her son's birth certificate.

According to the officer, the phone showed 11 text messages sent from 9:06 p.m. to 9:22 p.m. on January 14. The victim also reported that Andrews has been showing up at her uncle's job looking for her. She also said that people have told her he has been showing up at different motels in Douglas looking for her, blocking people in parking spots, showing them their marriage license, and questioning them.

A few hours later, an officer contacted the magistrate’s office in West Virginia and confirmed the restraining order was valid until June 30, 2023. The officer also noted that he discovered a call on January 9 where Andrews was reported to be at the Fairfield Inn "hanging around for a few days" trying to find his wife and making people uncomfortable.

Officers went to the location that night and arrested Andrews. He was booked into the Coffee County Jail on one count of aggravated stalking. He has not been granted a bond.
