Vicki Lewis speaks to Lions Club
The Douglas Lions Club held its regular weekly meeting on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at the Douglas Golf & Country Club. Lion Kevin Koeppler introduced the guest speaker, Vicki Lewis, President/CEO of Coffee Regional Medical Center. Lewis spoke to the group about the status of CRMC and some of their recent achievements which included Georgia Emergency Medical Service of the Year, ribbon cutting for the Heart Cath Lab, and Heart 2 Heart 5K Run/Walk.
CRMC also received a $2 million check from the City of Douglas through the USDA Loan Grant program to utilize the funds for patient services relating to cardiac, cancer, orthopedics, pediatrics and behavioral health.
