Cub Scout Pack 859 (First United Methodist Church - Aldersgate Sunday School Class) visited the Douglas Fire Department Station 3 on Monday, September 29.
The Scouts were given a tour of the station, along with some fire safety tips by firefighter A.J. Dovers. They were shown all the clothing a firefighter must wear when fighting a fire and were also greeted by Sparky the Firedog.
If your son (1st thru 5th grades) is interested in joining the Cub Scouts, meetings are most Monday afternoons at Douglas First United Methodist Church, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
